The ACL06 sandbox download for the GenPar Toolkit

This website provides modules to replicate the experiments shown in

  • Benjamin Wellington, Sonjia Waxmonsky, and I. Dan Melamed (2006). Empirical Lower Bounds on the Complexity of Translational Equivalence, Proceedings of the 44th annual conference of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL'06), Sydney, Australia

    In order to replicate the experiments, you will need version 1.3.3 of GenPar, and the sandbox validation must clear. You will also have to obtain the individual corpora yourself, and then put them in the designated directories.

    Each directory has a README to tell you which files to put where.
